As still as you can be, the lungs fill and unfill, the heart pumps and veins push and pull, and eyes blink - pulsing, flowing, radiating, beating. I believe we were made by a perfect being and in that way, we are all perfect. From Clubfoot to Cancer, we are perfect. Drawing is my vain attempt to mimic God; and in it to understand Him and to understand us.The nude human form is sexy, but it is also much more than that. It is so complex, sophisticated and subtle as to be largely incomprehensible. Drawing nudes doesn’t mean I advocate immodesty, but rather, I advocate the human experience.
